Chen Xueming

Personal Profile
A founding partner of the Firm and a first-class lawyer, he graduated from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in 1982 with a Master's degree in law. He graduated from Washington University School of Law in 1987 with a Master's degree in law. During his study abroad, he worked as an intern in two law firms in the United States. He had been teaching at Southwest University of Political Science and Law for nearly ten years, and was exceptionally appointed associate professor in 1987. In 1991, he was transferred to the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Economic and Trade Law Firm as a full-time lawyer and director. In 2000, he was appraised as Shenzhen Excellent Lawyer by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Justice. In 2005, he was appraised as an outstanding arbitrator by the National Arbitration Conference. He has been employed as a legal adviser to the Shenzhen Municipal Government, a legal expert in the Office of Legal Affairs of the Municipal Government, a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Shenzhen Arbitration Commission, and an adjunct professor at the School of Law of Shenzhen University. 

Areas of Expertise
He is good at planning, negotiating and document drafting of large investment projects, and has provided legal services for nearly ten super large investment or equipment technology introduction projects in Shenzhen. He has provided legal services for the reorganization and listing of multiple funds and companies, served as legal counsel for domestic and foreign companies and individual clients, and represented clients in international and domestic commercial arbitrations as well as in domestic civil and administrative litigation.
